Preventive protection rather than early replacement
Sustained value retention with EMP on a metal roof in Vienna
Protecting existing components, extending their service life and making sensible use of resources: this was precisely the aim of a recent project on a metal roof in Vienna.
Using EMP (Enke Multi Protect), an existing area of around 350 m² was given long-term protection and visually enhanced. The thick-film protective coating enhances the metal’s natural surface patina whilst providing reliable protection against harsh weather conditions.
Preserving existing areas
A complete refurbishment is not always the best solution. It often makes more sense to protect existing surfaces in good time, thereby ensuring they remain usable in the long term.
This project in Vienna demonstrated precisely this advantage: the existing metal roof was professionally refurbished, protected and visually enhanced using EMP. This results in sustainable value retention in the best sense of the term: the existing structure is preserved, protected and can continue to function reliably.
A further advantage lies in the product’s simple and practical application. EMP can be applied with a roller or brush and, in many cases, can be used without the need for a Primer. This makes the product particularly well-suited to a variety of roof surfaces, detailed areas and component geometries.
Carried out professionally, with personalised support
The project was supervised on site by our field service engineer, Gerhard Schön. The focus was not only on the specific requirements of the surface, but also on ensuring the work was carried out professionally on site.
The work was carried out by the roofing and sheet metal works firm MüllnerDach from Mannersdorf. The result demonstrates just how effective a well-designed protective coating can be when the right product, application and craftsmanship come together.
EMP, Enke Multi Protect
EMP is a high-quality thick-film protective coating designed to provide long-term protection for metal surfaces and other suitable substrates. The product protects against the elements, is easy to apply and is suitable for both large-scale applications and detailed areas.
EMP is available in six standard colours. RAL-like colour shades are also available on request, for example to match the colour of existing components or adjacent surfaces. EMP can also be used to match the appearance of Enkopur or Enkolan, for instance at visible wall junctions, window reveals or detailed waterproofing.
