Enke Glass Primer is a solvent-based special bonding agent for smooth, non-absorbent substrates such as glass, tiles and ceramic coverings. It is used in particular in conjunction with Enkopur, e.g. at junctions with glazing, for waterproofing on tiles or in areas where water may stand for prolonged periods.

A glass primer is always required when:

• waterproofing is to be carried out on glass surfaces or ceramic tiles,
• mechanical adhesion is not possible due to rough surfaces,
• or where connections are being made in areas exposed to water (e.g. plinths on glass façades, balcony connections to window surfaces).

It ensures the chemical adhesion that cannot be achieved with universal Primers.

Apply a thin, even coat using a roller, brush or a well-saturated cloth.
The flash-off time is approx. 30–60 minutes, depending on the weather and the substrate. Work with the Liquid plastic may only continue once it has fully flashed off. Avoid applying the product too thickly, as this can adversely affect adhesion.

Coverage is approximately 50 g or 60 ml per m².
Important to note:

• apply very sparingly
• avoid creating puddles
• The substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease

The glass primer is colourless, so the application is barely visible to the naked eye.

Enke Glass Primer is highly flammable and may cause eye irritation and drowsiness.
The following are required:

• good ventilation
• protective gloves, safety goggles and suitable work clothing
• strict avoidance of ignition sources

The product should not be applied indoors without adequate ventilation. The instructions in the safety data sheet must be strictly observed.
