Ideal for refurbishment projects, outdoor cleaning tasks and on building sites.

EnkoClean Bitumen Remover is a solvent-based specialist cleaner designed to remove bitumen and oil residues. It is used on concrete surfaces, walls and stone floors, as well as for cleaning tools. The bitumen remover makes bitumen and oil stains water-soluble, thus enabling thorough rinsing with water.
The bitumen remover is suitable for:
- Bitumen and tar residues
- Oil and grease stains
- Old bitumen-based stains on mineral substrates
It is not suitable for:
- delicate plastics
- painted or coated surfaces that are not solvent-resistant
- Substrates that are not water- or solvent-resistant
If in doubt, a material compatibility test should always be carried out.
To ensure safe use, please note the following:
- Remove coarse dirt mechanically
- Pre-wet the surrounding areas with water
- Apply the bitumen remover with a brush
- Leave to work, but do not allow to dry
- Remove the softened dirt with water and a brush
This procedure ensures optimum cleaning results with minimal impact on the substrate.
Yes. EnkoClean bitumen remover can also be used on vertical surfaces such as walls. It is important to apply the product carefully and to monitor the application time to ensure that the cleaner does not run or act unevenly.
EnkoClean Bitumen Remover is:
- flammable
- harmful if swallowed (risk of aspiration)
- irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract
- significantly hazardous to water (WGK 2)
The following are required:
- Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area
- Protective gloves, safety goggles and suitable work clothing
- Keep well away from sources of ignition at all times
- Do not allow the product to enter the soil, the sewerage system or watercourses
The instructions in the safety data sheet must be strictly observed.
