Enkolit is the original cold bonding agent for metal sheet and has been the first choice for over 100 years when it comes to securely fixing metal wall copings, window sills or cornice profiles. The permanently pliable adhesive system ensures reliable, tension-free bonds to concrete, masonry or timber – without screws, without drilling and without leaks.
The unique combination of adhesive strength, corrosion protection and sound-dampening properties has made Enkolit the industry benchmark. Whether titanium-zinc, aluminium or copper: with Enkolit, all common metals can be bonded securely and easily. Its tested durability over decades is regularly confirmed by independent expert reports and proven in practice every day.

Special solvent-based primer for a wide range of substrates: concrete, zinc, aluminium, wood and many more. Ideal as a primer before applying Enkopur, Enkolan, Enkryl and Enkolit.
Two-component primer for mineral substrates. High adhesion, ideal for industrial surfaces, reaction resin mortars and Betoncoat PUR or EP coatings.
Accessories for use with the Enkolit
The grooved spreader ensures even distribution and better air release for viscous floor coatings – robust, solvent-resistant and efficient to use.
The Enke heating belt heats canisters, buckets or drums evenly and gently – improving the workability of liquid plastics and Primers in cold conditions.
EnkoClean Bitumen Remover effectively removes bitumen, oil and grease residues from tools and surfaces. Washes off with water, low in odour and easy to use.

Enkolit is a cold bonding agent for metal sheet used for the permanent bonding of metal profiles and cladding to, for example, walls, parapets, cornices or window sills.
Enkolit is not suitable for roofing membranes, bituminous substrates, plastic films, liquid plastic waterproofing or insulation materials such as polystyrene or mineral wool, as this may result in material incompatibility.
Enkolit is suitable for all common metals used in roofing and building plumbing, including titanium-zinc, copper, aluminium, stainless steel, lead and galvanised sheet steel. The strength values achieved comply with the requirements of DIN 1991 (wind loads) and are substantiated by expert reports on bonded joints up to 45 years old.
No Primer is required on solid, clean and non-porous substrates.
On sandy or porous substrates (e.g. older cement screeds, sandstone), Universal Primer 933 must be used.
For ETICS substrates, a barrier coat must be applied using Enke Primer 2K and sanded before bonding.
Enkolit is applied over the entire surface using the Enke grooved spreader, working in one direction. This allows air to escape when the sheet metal is pressed down, resulting in a bond free of air pockets.
For bonding surfaces wider than 30 cm, Enkolit should be applied to both sides (not a double quantity, but an even distribution). The sheet metal should be pressed down no later than 30 minutes after application.
Yes – depending on the installation situation.
On sloping or vertical surfaces, and when bonding sheet metal to sheet metal, additional mechanical fastening is required to prevent slipping (e.g. clips, retaining strips).
Enkolit handles the bonding across the entire surface; the mechanical fixings are used solely to prevent movement – this ensures the structure remains stress-free and functionally reliable in the long term.

For precision applications, small areas or repairs, Enkolit is also available in a 340 g cartridge. Simply insert it into the half-shell syringe, dispense the required amount – and you’re done. Ideal for window sills, edge joints or detailed areas.
