Parking deck waterproofing: quick and permanently watertight
A car park renovation project was completed in a short space of time at Salzburg Airport. Around 300 m² of surface area was reliably waterproofed using the Enkryl system, including Enke Polyflex fleece. The result ensures that areas remain permanently dry in this high-traffic environment and provides a long-term, reliable, low-maintenance solution.

Processing in the direction of water flow
Right next to Dietrich Mateschitz’s private hangar, an Austrian specialist firm refurbished a parking deck measuring approximately 300 m². The Enkryl coating system was used in combination with Enke Polyflex fleece. Following careful preparation of the joint areas, the surface was efficiently lined with fleece, minimising waste.
Particular attention was paid to laying the fleece in the direction of water flow. The overlaps in the fleece layers were precisely aligned from top to bottom to ensure that drainage was not impeded and that the waterproofing provided a permanently reliable seal. The result was a high-quality, rainproof waterproofing system completed in a short time – functional, cost-effective and ideally suited for use in an airport environment.
The project demonstrates that Enke liquid polymer systems provide reliable protection even on multi-storey car parks and in exposed locations, even under heavy use and demanding conditions.
Enke products used
Soivent free single-component roof waterproofing for sloping surfaces. Resistance to temperature changes from –30 °C to +100 °C, water vapor permeability, weather-resistant and ETAG-certified.
Enke Polyflex fleece is a flexible, tear-resistant polyester needle-punched fleece designed for embedding in Liquid plastics. Ideal for secure waterproofing of joints, penetrations and detail points – on roofs, balconies and terraces.
