For the refurbishment of the roof terrace in the entrance area and several balconies, the hotel deliberately chose Enke Systeme. The aim was to find a solution that works reliably in every detail, provides lasting protection and helps to maintain the property’s value in the long term.
System waterproofing using Enkopur and Polyflex fleece at the Hotel Traube Tonbach
with a systematic approach and high standards
The appropriate system was determined on site in consultation with the clients. Enkopur was used for the waterproofing – a single component liquid plastic that has proven particularly effective for complex geometries and transitions. Work began on the roof terrace in the entrance area. Following the application of Enke Universal primer, Enkopur was applied in combination with Enke Polyflex fleece. This created a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane.
A root barrier membrane was then laid to enable an extensive green roof. This not only enhanced the technical quality of the entrance area but also added visible aesthetic value.
The same system was implemented on the balconies. The waterproofing was followed by a building protection mat and a slab covering laid in a gravel bed as the wearing course. The structure is stable, low-maintenance and suitable for daily use.
The result is both a visual improvement and a sustainable contribution to the building’s structure. It is a solution that meets the building’s requirements, as it combines safety, flexibility and long-term reliability.
