Enkolit at Bergader in Waging am See
Stainless steel façade securely bonded across its entire surface
When high-quality food meets high-quality architecture, the materials and workmanship must be just as impressive as the end result. For the new packaging facility at the Bergader private cheese dairy in Waging am See, stainless steel cladding was chosen. To ensure a secure, full-surface bond, the tinsmiths involved relied on Enkolit. After all, a façade that looks brilliant on the outside must also hold up reliably under wind loads and temperature fluctuations.
Bergader stainless steel cladding with Enkolit
Elastic bonding for rattle-free stability
At the company’s headquarters in Upper Bavaria, the production and logistics centre was expanded and a building was extended upwards. The new façade was clad in matt-finished stainless steel, giving it a modern look whilst ensuring its durability.
To ensure that the metal cladding not only looks impressive but also remains secure in strong Alpine winds, those responsible opted for full-surface bonding with Enkolit. This elastic cold-applied sheet metal adhesive ensures rattle-free stability and reduces the risk of delamination that can be caused by wind loads or fluctuating temperatures. The result is a bond that meets Bergader’s quality standards: technically well thought-out and neatly executed.
The full project description will appear in an upcoming issue of the trade journal *Baumetall*.
