The Enkopur Accelerator reduces the curing time of Enkopur to around 20 minutes – whilst retaining all the tried-and-tested properties of the liquid plastic: elastic, vapour-permeable and permanently waterproof. Ideal for projects with tight deadlines or in adverse weather conditions.
The specially formulated composition ensures reliable on-site application, improves planning on the building site and allows surfaces to be walked on more quickly. Whether for flat roofs, balconies or detailed connections – the Accelerator makes Enkopur even more efficient.

The Enkopur Accelerator is used when the curing time of Enkopur needs to be significantly reduced – for example, in the case of tight schedules, uncertain weather conditions, short drying windows, or when the surface needs to be accessible again quickly.
Typical applications include detail connections, balconies, flat roofs or refurbishments whilst the building remains in use.
Once the Accelerator has been added, the working time is reduced to approximately 20 minutes.
Curing takes place correspondingly faster, without compromising the elasticity, diffusion permeability or watertightness of Enkopur.
Important: Once mixed, the material must be applied promptly.
The dosage must be strictly adhered to:
- 0.8% by weight of Enkopur
- 100 g of Accelerator per 12.5 kg of Enkopur
- 32 g of Accelerator per 4.0 kg of Enkopur
Overdosing is not permitted, as it may adversely affect workability and reaction behaviour.
The Accelerator must be thoroughly stirred into the already opened Enkopur container until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
It is essential to ensure that only the Accelerator specifically designed for Enkopur is used – Enkopur and Enketop accelerators are not interchangeable.
The reduced pot life begins immediately after mixing.
