The Enkolan coating accelerator has been specially developed for Enkolan coatings. It significantly reduces the curing time – ideal for time-critical construction phases, falling temperatures or when subsequent trades need to carry out their work promptly. The formulation is perfectly tailored to the system and can be incorporated safely and easily – without compromising on quality or ease of application.
For greater flexibility on site and more efficient workflows – particularly during renovation work.

The Enkolan Accelerator is used when the curing of the Enkolan Coating needs to be accelerated – for example, in:
- time-critical refurbishments
- low or falling temperatures
- short closure periods on balconies or terraces
- where rapid handover to subsequent trades is required
The Accelerator improves planning, but is no substitute for professional application conditions.
The Enkolan Accelerator significantly reduces the curing time without altering the material properties.
The elasticity, diffusion permeability, weather resistance and UV resistance of the Enkolan Coating remain fully intact.
It is an additive specifically formulated for the system, not a third-party additive.
The accelerator is stirred directly into the open container of Enkolan Coating until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
Once stirred in, the shortened application and curing phase begins immediately; the material must therefore be applied swiftly and without interruption.
It is not possible to adjust the pot life retrospectively.
Yes. The Enkolan Accelerator is:
- water-based and soivent free
- odourless
- not subject to labelling requirements under the CLP Regulation
- classified as non-hazardous
This makes it particularly suitable for use in residential buildings, hospitals, nurseries or other sensitive areas where emissions are a critical concern.
The Enkolan Accelerator is intended exclusively for use with the Enkolan Coating.
It must not be used in combination with other Enke products or Accelerators.
Further important points:
- Store in a cool, frost-free place and keep tightly sealed
- Water hazard class WGK 1 (low water hazard)
- Standard safety precautions (gloves, eye protection) must be observed
- Do not allow the product to enter the sewerage system or watercourses
