belektro becomes gedatec:
Networked building services under one roof
gedatec, a new trade fair for smart building technology, will take place for the first time from 13 to 15 October 2026 at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. As a further development of belektro, it will showcase exhibitors from the three sectors of electrical, HVAC and roofing across an even larger exhibition area.
gedatec is the new industry platform for connected building services in Berlin and Brandenburg. The focus here is on technologies that make buildings more efficient, more connected and more climate-friendly. gedatec is creating an industry hub that reflects the reality of modern buildings. After all, technology no longer operates in isolation by trade, but only through the combined interaction of electrical, HVAC and roofing systems.
What has long been part of everyday life on the building site is now also on display at the trade fair: planning, energy, the building envelope and technology are all interlinked. gedatec offers a shared forum for products, exchange and cooperation, acting as an interface between industry, the skilled trades, politics and consultancy.
